Open and free to visit until 17th March, Watch this Space and Dez Rez Projects hosts a showcase of new Manchester-based creative business, Ornament Art, with an installation and window display at 285 Deansgate.
Jo and David Short of Ornament Art have been collecting knick-knacks for years; ornaments found in vintage markets and treasures from their travels. The couple has turned their house into a museum of collectibles and art, with lovingly curated cabinets full of beautiful glassware and ceramics, ornaments and sculpture.
Ornament Art was born from the idea to use David’s skills as an advertising photographer to photograph their collection to create a range of wall art and greetings cards for everyone to enjoy, and adorn their own homes with bold, playful, stylish and affordable patterns and prints.
