The ultimate day out for daredevils, fitness fanatics and foodies alike, Dirt Factory Presents: Urban Action at Great Northern Warehouse is coming to Manchester for one weekend only across 29-30th April.
Test your BMX skills on the indoor pump track and air bag, Test Your Steel and compete for the title of Manchester’s strongest person or try out Swifty Scooters. And, spectators fear not – the day is accompanied by great Manchester music, with delicious food and drink to boot.

Indoor mountain bike and BMX bike park
Four friends once dreamt of opening an indoor bike park in Manchester, all from a business hub at Great Northern. That dream has now become a reality, and for one weekend only they’re returning to where it all began.
The ultimate urban experience, unleash your inner daredevil. Whether a mountain or BMX biker, jump on to air bags and race along the pump track, or marvel at the talented skills Manchester has to offer.

Test Your Steel
“Do you have what it takes to prove your Great Northern strength? Test your power, show your spirit and push your endurance to its limit in the search for Manchester’s best all round athlete.
Paying homage to the gruelling working conditions and backbreaking labours of the industrial revolution, a series of challenges (which will take place in the amphitheatre at the front of Great Northern) will test both strength and endurance. Whether you’re a body builder, running fanatic or gym bunny there’s a challenge ready with you in mind.
On Saturday the competition is open to just 30 individual competitors, whilst on Sunday the competition opens to 30 pairs. Whether you want to battle it out solo, or join forces with your strong pal, there are plenty of fantastic prizes up for grabs for those who take part. Think you’ve got what it takes? Swifty Scooters
If pedalling isn’t quite your bag then scoot along the track. A great northern invention, Swifty Scooters mean that scooters are no longer reserved for child’s play.
Founded by Camilla and Jason Iftakahar, come along and test out how you can swap public transport and speed across the city.
