Join us this Bank Holiday weekend for for two days of family fun as we launch On the Beach’s Great Northern Summer!
Join us in the amphitheatre for our Mancunian May Fair on 4th and 5th May.
Over the weekend you can enjoy our spectacular sandpit, complete with 50 tonnes of sand and wood rounds, along with a giant deckchair – perfect for photos .
Your little ones can also join in free play sessions managed by qualified play practitioners, who will help unleash young imaginations with den building, cardboard village construction and even the Japanese art of Hapa Zome (leaf printing).
Hoping for sunshine, there’ll be frozen treats from Cheshire Ice Cream Farm and youngsters can also continue to enjoy our playhouse also housed in the amphitheatre, complete with an animal hospital for teddies, a pretend café and a mini library.
Sunday will see us also joined by Makers Market in the square with stalls selling gifts, food and crafts.
Play sessions will run 10.30 to 12 noon; 12.30 pm to 2 pm and 2.30 pm to 4 pm. Sessions are free to attend, and children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
