Lions Den is preparing for another bank holiday weekend packed with grassroots music as MCR1 Live Festival takes over the venue from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August.
The three-day festival will showcase emerging artists, independent musicians and up-and-coming bands from Manchester and the surrounding area, with the Sun Trap outdoor stage providing the setting for a weekend dedicated to local talent.
The lineup includes Another Day, Big Society, Ruby Joyce and Nick Shane, alongside a wider selection of artists from across Greater Manchester. Best of all, entry is completely free.
