Chocolate fans in the north have reason to celebrate as award-winning Dormouse Chocolates opens at the Great Northern.
Located on Deansgate Mews, a bustling hub of flavoursome food and exhilarating entertainment, the company is Manchester’s first bean to bar chocolate maker.
Established in 2014 by Isabel Carse – who previously worked at Hotel Chocolat – the chocolatier has won numerous awards and has customers in France, the USA, the Netherlands and Canada.
Isobel Carse started her craft chocolate journey when she produced the very first batches in her own kitchen as an experiment.
As well as the site in Manchester, Dormouse Chocolates frequently sells its delicious chocolates at Makers Markets across the North West.
What’s more, Dormouse Chocolates runs an innovative ‘Bean to Door’ club, which gives members a fresh new bar delivered to their door every month.
Isabel Carse said: “It’s a really exciting time for Dormouse Chocolates as we move to our new home at the Great Northern. It’s been an incredible journey since I first started making chocolate in my kitchen just a few short years ago, and Deansgate Mews is the perfect base for us to continue to grow.”
