This September, Great Northern Warehouse hosts the latest exhibition from celebrated artist Antonia Patricia Miller, featuring a stunning collection of acrylic paintings and prints that celebrate the beauty of every day life, alongside a series of artist-led workshops each week throughout the month.
Titled Found Moments, Miller’s new exhibition is a vivid, joyous tribute to the wonder of the mundane, with bold colours and playful simplicity applied to the overlooked corners of cafes, restaurants and public spaces thrumming with character and energy.
Each hand-crafted piece reflects both Antonia’s artistry and the human warmth at the core of daily existence, showcasing the magic of our unnoticed surroundings with a deep sense of delight.
The exhibition launches with a special opening night on Friday 6th September from 6-10pm. No booking required, just stop by!
Alongside the exhibition, Antonia will host a series of bookable workshops and events on Sundays and Mondays throughout the month, offering budding artists the chance to engage directly with her creative process.
Every Sunday from 12pm-4pm, Antonia’s Sunday Portrait Sessions welcome artists of all abilities to gather, draw portraits of one another and celebrate creativity with guidance, tuition and materials included for £15 per session (£10 concessions).
Mindful Mondays, held every Monday evening from 6-8.30pm, comprise calming artistic processes which blend mindfulness with painting, where guests can draw or paint still-life arrangements in a relaxed environment to foster their creative expression.
