Great Northern’s newest – and most elegant – cafe, Gulf Coffee, has opened its doors with a calming, Middle East-inspired space filled with soft pastels, clean lines and exquisite Arabic coffee that makes it an ideal hideaway in the middle of town.
Expect gorgeous traditional coffee served from a classic dallah with medjool dates, rich Karak tea infused with fragrant spices, and iced Karak for a cooler treat. It is a place designed for slow sips, conversation and unhurried afternoons.
The kitchen will follow soon, with dishes including spicy scrambled eggs with pitta, a generous Arabic breakfast platter, cheesy garlic pide, indulgent Gulf Toast with salted caramel and ice cream, and a full chapati menu ranging from shakshuka to falafel with labneh.
